Tyagarah Beach, accessed via Grays Lane through the National Park, is a remote beach far less crowded than those located closer to Byron Bay town. The Tyagarah Nature Reserve, which protects the coastline between Byron Bay and Brunswick Heads, is located behind the beach.
There is a daily parking fee, or a two year pass is available from National Parks. This wonderful clothes optional beach, section starts 200m south of the carpark, the zone is signalled by signs. This long sandy beach runs over a mile with beautiful views and plenty of surfers to watch.
