Ladies Bay lies just below the St Helier's cliff tops. The small, sheltered bay with views across the Waitemata Harbour makes this one of the most frequented beaches in Auckland.

This well known nude beach is poorly sign posted resulting in many visitors expressing shock at the bodies on display, so don't take the occasional raised brow personally.

From Ladies Bay you can walk towards Glendowie around Achilles Point and will come to the more secluded Gentlemen’s Bay -another nude sunbathing spot.  At low tide the trek is an easy one on sand or tiny pebbles but at high tide, a little agility and pluck is required to negotiate some of the slippery rocks.
