Between the Barraques and Bonne Terrasse zones towards the south of Pampelonne is the second of two naturist areas on this 5 km long beach. This part of the beach is less trendy and considered more relaxed and the less expensive of the two naturist areas. South of Team Water Sport Pampelonne and North of Cabane Bambou.
Plage de Pampelonne is the most well-known beach on the Saint-Tropez peninsula. It is located in the Ramatuelle area and is a long sand beach stretching out over five kilometers of fine, white sand and acres of scrub-covered dunes. With a rural backdrop to the world's most glamorous beach party scene.
There's a bohemian side to St-Tropez that dates back to the 1950s. Brigitte Bardot, Juliette Greco and denizens of Paris's Left Bank postwar scene turned St-Tropez beaches into their summer headquarters.
Sand dunes rise gently behind the beaches before sloping down to a strip of paved parking. You will find the beach is divided into five sections (from north to south): Moulins, Tamaris, Patch, Barraques and Bonne Terrasse. You will find parking areas (parking charges apply in season.)
The Moulins zone of Pampelonne Beach is the most northern part, bordering Tahiti Beach. Tamaris has the other naturist area in front of Neptune resort (see seperate listing). The Patch area, is good for those with reduced mobility.
Note is is reported that a waste disposal center is located nearby and can be disagreeable during the summer.
