Plage de Torreilles otherwise known as Plage de Bourdigoul, is east of the city of Torreille. It is made up of very fine sand which stretches for 4 km in the direction of Sainte-Marie to the mouth of the Bourdigoul (where this beach also takes its name).
The beach of Torreilles is spread into three zones; North Beach"Dotted" blockhouse , dating from the second world war, this beach extends to the mouth of the coastal river " Agly " that physically separates us from the city of Barcarès.
Beach Center - The main beach of Torreilles located in the heart of the " Camps de la Ribere " ("fields of the river" in Catalan), natural area protected by the Conservatoire du Littoral .South BeachThe largest and most natural beach in Torreilles, part of which is reserved for naturism (Municipal authorization of 14.06.1990).
The three beaches of Torreilles have been classified in the European Blue Flag since its creation (1985). As you leave the sand inland, you will see the vegetation is wild. Moreover, the trails which lead to the sea - pass through the reeds, and various thorns. Which gives a good idea of the natural vegetation of the Roussillon coastal strip.
