Zoetermeer Lake also known locally as Sweet Lake Italy because the name literally translates as "sweet lake", is the largest and most important recreation area in Zoetermeer.

On the Northern side of the lake is the Noord AA beach, a small section allows for nudist recreation. It is easy to find as it has sign posts designating the area. You will find lush green meadow areas and a sandy beach to lie upon.
