Situated to the East of Arnhem the recreation area of Rhederlaag is situated in a beautiful environment. Rhederlaag is a popular place for water sports enthusiasts. But also lazing on a sandy beach, staying at a campsite or visiting a charming village. It has a water surface area of 300 hectares and is made up of 3 lakes.

Nude recreation is allowed on the Bahrse beach, on the south-west side of Grand Café Rutgers. The nudist beach area is made up of laying meadows, with a small area of sandy beach. It is delineated by signs "naturisten strand" and is very near the car park. The water is very clean and there are wonderful cycle routes to enjoy. The entrance to the recreation area is free, although parking must be paid for.
