The Harzer Naturistenstieg was Germany's first official nude hiking trail in Germany. The 18km long trail is designed as a circular walk which runs in the valley of Wipper in the southern Harz west of Wippra.

The trail runs through the woods and provided by signs is a drawing of two naked hikers and the inscription: "If you do not want to see naked people, you can not go further here". The official hiking sign is a yellow circle for circular walks that encircles an N. Of course, there is no obligation for naked walking.

Since 2009, the route has been prepared for hiking and signposted and adapted to the special conditions of nude walkers (thorns and stinging nettles have been eliminated).
