Port Burwell Provincial Park is located near the Port Burwell Lighthouse, which is one of the oldest wooden lighthouses in Canada.The 2.5 km well maintained sandy beach which is reported to be one of most beautiful on the northern shore of Lake Erie.

Fifteen minutes walk from Parking Lot 5 to the park boundary is a private area where nudity is permitted. This is private land so is not subjected to park rules. The owner allows nude bathing use so long as there is non-sexual and non harassment of others. The beach is used by a mix of straight couples and gay men, and the number of visitors to the beach is reported to be growing.
