On the south Atlantic coast of Martinique, Anse Trabaud is a beautiful sandy beach stretching more than a kilometer between Pointe d'Enfer and Pointe Baham and is reported to be the most beautiful beach of Martinique.

A secluded wild beach which is a little difficult to reach due to the bumpy terrain, and there is a small toll for parking. But this makes the beach more special due to its isolation.This is a naturist tolerated beach with fine white sand, spreading over its length.

The Atlantic exposure, means the surf can be pretty high; with a strong undertow, hence why it popular with bodyboarders and surfers, but Most of the time, the current is weak and the waves are safe for children. There is some covering of Sargassum algae whose gas emanation is toxic.
