The Ledges is a pristine naturist venue on the Harriman Reservoir, in Wilmington, Vermont. Hike, along the wooded shoreline to enjoy nude sunbathing, swimming and boating. There are multiple large outcroppings of granite shelves, some of them excellent diving platforms, which give the Ledges its name. When the water is low, there is a sandy flat area. Along with two cliffs to jump from when the water level is right. One of them has a rope swing.
Visiting the Ledges is at its best between the end of July and the end of September. If you come too early in the season, the water level in the reservoir is very high and space is limited. If you come too late in the season, you may find it somewhat on the chilly side. The view is a hundred-and-eighty-degree panorama of lake, sky, unspoiled shoreline, and timbered mountains. And a visit to The Ledges is Free!
