Little Hot Creek is set in a small secluded valley, within Mono County, nearby to Benton Crossing and Long Valley. The concrete tub is approximately ten feet by six feet and a little more than knee deep at one end. It can get very hot, but there's a valve to help adjust the temperature. The water is diverted from one in a cluster of hot springs through several yards of pipe into a concrete pool, where the water remains hot. This tub is the least-known of the springs in the area, and provides opportunities for a nude skinny dip. Unlike the other springs, this tub is located on Forest Service land, it appears there are no restrictions against camping here.
