Cape Wrath in the north of Scotland on the north-western tip of the British mainland, takes its name from the old Norse hvarf, meaning "turning point". It is an expansive area covering 277 square kilometres of wild, unforgiving moorland, with the Cape Wrath lighthouse perched perilously over the violent cliffs.
This desolate spot miles from anywhere is very atmospheric and beautiful. The sheltered beach situated between large rocks. Offers great ribbons of golden sand contrasting perfectly with the blue sea and golden heather backdrop. Nudity is unofficial but perfectly practiced in this difficult to reach lonesome place.
