This beach, also known as Playa de Cabo de Plata, enjoys an ideal location - sheltered between the two headlands, Cabo de Plata and Cabo de Gracia, the latter with a lighthouse called Faro Camarinal or Faro de Gracia.
Playa de los Alemanes is a very beautiful beach and protected from the dreaded Levante wind. Depending on what time of the tide and with what wind, There may be waves breaking sharply against the shore.
It is not dangerous and is due to the slope that the sand has. The water is clean, and in the background you can see the African coast. - Directions Also known as Camarinal Beach by the Lighthouse, you can access from Zahara de los Atunes following the road that leaves the hotels in the area of Atlanterra. Behind the beach there are numerous chalets, some luxury and some simply scandal. At the end there is a small parking lot, probably very insufficient in high season, so you will need to come early. From there you can access the beach following the asphalt road and a stone staircase.
