Cala Saona is a small cove located five kilometers from Sant Francesc Xavier. Cala Saona is a popular naturist cove characterized for being embedded between two cliffs and is an almost virgin cove, except for the presence of a tourist hotel, and beach bar.
The slope of fine white sand leading into crystal clear, calm, turquoise waters, and sandy seabed is appreciated by the people who enjoy practicing diving. The dune system to the back, and leafy pine forest envelop this coastal corner.The beautiful cliffs of Punta Rasa, can easily be reached travelling 10 meters on foot.

- Directions To reach Cala Saona from Formentera health center. Travel in the direction of La Mola (PM-820). After 100 meters take the second exit at the roundbout heading for PM-820-1 road, in the direction of Cap de Barberia. Continue for approx 2.5 kilometers, until the junction, where you turn right towards Cala Saona. Continue straight for 2.6 kilometers, until you find a hotel and a small car park. At this point you travel over a footbridge onto the beach.
