Playa de las Mujeres otherwise known as Pasito Bea is located between Maspalomas and Arguineguin. Not far at all from the tourist hustle and bustle of the well-known and popular large beaches of Gran Canaria.
Hidden behind the hills that separate the beach from the road, it has a local feel and none or few tourists. As there are not many people it's a popular nudist beach though swimwear is allowed. The beach is only 100 metres long but is wide and pebble free.
Its fine sand varies between golden and volcanic depending on the tides and the light, but the water here is almost always clear and a gorgeous turquoise colour. Take are on rough days as there is an undercurrent that pulls you out to sea.

The track to the beach is pedestrian only so park your car; the main indicator that you've reached the beach is the other visitors' cars parked along the road.
