The beaches in Santorini are different to other beaches in Greece due to the red and black volcanic pebbles which lie on the shores of the Santorini beaches.
One of the beaches on the Island of Santorini which is naturist friendly is Cape Coloumbo, otherwise known as Koloumbo Beach. Here its visitors will see steep red cliffs which provide a breathtaking ambiance and natural shade.
The waters here are clear and warm thanks to the nearby underwater volcano crater 512 meters below. The beach itself is secluded and far from crowds. A great beach for your first nudist experience. You can also turn right at Kolokytha beach. There is a rough path which you will follow over and through the rocks. After 450 meters you will come to two small bays, These are marked as beach Vayu (as indicated on the reference points). This is a perfect area for naturism.
