The beach of Triopetra is a long and wide sandy beach in the south of the island of Crete, Greece. You arrive at the eastern end of the beach near the Cantina and the textile area. The 3 rocks of Triopetra are to your left, (which is what the beach takes its name from).
The whole beach measures approx 1000 meters. On the east side of the beach are some overhanging cliffs for those seeking shade. The water is beautiful and clear and with the many rocks and crannies is wonderful for snorkeling.
There is also a beautiful sandy beach on the other side of the hill which is mainly frequented by naturists, and gradually turns into the beach of Agios Pavlos. There are many kilometers of sand and coves between the two beaches of Triopetra and Agios Pavlos beach for naturists to explore.
