On the northern side of the island is the bay of Aselinos. It is said to be one of the best secluded beaches in Skiathos.
The Kounistra Mountain which is rich in vegetation, surrounds the beach and reaches the shore with its long thick golden sand and small soft pebbles, which reach the sapphire waters that shelve gradually. Big waves are usually present.
The area to the right is suitable for naturism and there are two small coves around the rocks at the far end of the beach to explore.
