Tamaris Zone. The second of five zone from North to South of this wonderful beach. One of two naturist sections found along the 5km beach of Pampelonne. This one is towards the north and is the more trendy of the two and is linked to the private beach venue Neptune, heading south to the Tiki restaurant area but not beyond.
Plage de Pampelonne is the most well-known beach on the Saint-Tropez peninsula. It is located in the Ramatuelle area and is a long sand beach stretching out over five kilometers of fine, white sand and acres of scrub-covered dunes. With a rural backdrop to the world's most glamorous beach party scene.
There's a bohemian side to St-Tropez that dates back to the 1950s. Brigitte Bardot, Juliette Greco and denizens of Paris's Left Bank postwar scene turned St-Tropez beaches into their summer headquarters.
Sand dunes rise gently behind the beaches before sloping down to a strip of paved parking. You will find the beach is divided into five sections (from north to south): Moulins, Tamaris, Patch, Barraques and Bonne Terrasse. You will find parking areas (parking charges apply in season.)
The Moulins zone of Pampelonne Beach is the most northern part, bordering Tahiti Beach. The Patch area, is good for those with reduced mobility. The Barraques and Bonne Terrasse areas further south have the other naturist area of this beach, see seperate listing, and is considered the more relaxed of the two naturists areas.
