Beautiful naturist beach with cold crystal blue water
    Recommended June 7, 2021 - by Jeff
Pros: Beautiful location, crystal blue water, sand, boulders to sit on in the water
Cons: Colder water, steep hike, limited parking, 70% textile to 30% nude mix

Summary: Secret Cove is a gem on Lake Tahoe on the Nevada side of the lake. The Lake Tahoe water level is lower this year due to a drought so a larger sandy beach with large smooth boulders awaits you. I parked along Route 28 and walked down a steep trail to the beach. The beach has clothing optional signs and at Noon on a Saturday there were about 30% nude and 70% textiles. The water was very cold but felt refreshing. Lake Tahoe is at 6,200 feet so the Noon sun was strong and felt great. The hike back to the car was difficult due to the steep hillside and high elevation and but it was definitely worth the visit.
