Malta
If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with beautiful beaches and great weather, Malta is ideal. On the island of Malta there are two unofficial naturist beaches, where it has been reported that locals do practice naturism both located in the northwestern part between Golden Bay, Ghajn Tuffieha Bay and Gnejna Bay. However, there is a provision in criminal law, enacted in 1933 Chapter 9, Section 338(q): “Every person is guilty of a contravention against public order, who in the harbours, on the seashore or in any other public place, exposes himself naked or is indecently dressed;” which still makes any public nude expression unlawful and subject to criminal prosecution. There are signs on many beaches that topless bathing is strictly prohibited.
