Meon Shore - Hill Head

Things to Know

Getting There:

Directions: To reach the naturist area (50°49'24.5"N+1°15'25.3"W) you can approach Meon Shore from Titchfield (just off the A27 at Fareham), take St. Margarets Lane off St. Margarets Roundabout and follow it to the end, turn left on to Coach Hill (which can also be accessed from Titchfield High Street) than take the first right on to Posbrook Lane/Triangle Lane/Meon Road and follow the signs for Meon, the road gets increasingly narrow and is unsuitable for anything larger than a transit van (owners of large RVs please note!).  This lane emerges behind the small collection of beach huts at the eastern end of the beach and there is parking available there, pay at the ticket machine - be warned, the car park fills up quickly in summer!  Otherwise take the Titchfield Road off the M27 to Stubbington, then turn right on to Cuckoo Lane, right on Plymouth Drive/Old Street then right on to Kings Bank Road, right to drop down Cliff Road, over the causeway at Hill Head Harbour and on to Meon Shore on your left - park as above, again access for large RVs will be awkward.

You will need to walk on to the beach at the toilets then head west past the chalets for about 500 yards, beyond the point at which a track descends onto the beach from the Solent Way, after which the naturist beach stretches right to the end, at least half a mile.

Address: Hill Head Beach, Fareham, Hampshire, England, UK
