Located in 25 acres of woodland in Norfolk, England. We are a family orientated and pet friendly club that welcomes like-minded visitors. You can book to bring your tent, caravan or motorhome, stay for a week in one of our static caravans, or just visit us for the day through our website at https://broadlandsun.co.uk
Broadlands is a member club of British Naturism and extends a welcome to you whether you are a seasoned naturist or a newcomer contemplating dipping your toe into the liberating world of naturism for the first time.
Once here, you’re free to use all the clubs’ facilities, which include the sun-lawn, heated indoor swimming pool (Mid April - October), sauna, racket courts and a Petanque (boules) terrain. There’s also a club house where we hold social events and evening entertainments, and a refreshments room where you can get hot & cold drinks, a snack, or heat-up your own food in the microwave.
We also have a woodland walk around the perimeter of the club which is about a mile long. You will certainly see squirrels and you might catch a glimpse of a badger or a few deer. This is a favourite circuit for dog owners to exercise their pooches. We welcome dogs but ask that they are kept on a lead and exercised on the woodland walk. Dogs are not permitted in the areas of the club where people go to relax or socialise.
Outside the club, there are many family attractions within easy reach of Broadlands. We are just 15 minutes drive from Whitlingham Adventure who offer a wide range of water and land-based activities for all the family. Adjacency to this is the Norfolk Snow Sports Centre where you can brush up on your skiing and snow-boarding skills, though we guess they will want you to wear some clothing (such a pity). Just five minutes further and you will be in the City of Norwich, widely regarded as the most complete medieval city in the UK, where you can explore the cobbled streets and half-timbered houses on a self-guided tour or visit the major landmarks of Norwich Castle or Norwich Cathedral to recall their splendour in earlier years.
The walkers and cyclists among you can explore the 36 miles of Boudicca Way running from Norwich to Diss. And within walking distance of the club are the ruins of the Roman Town at Caistor St Edmund (a.k.a. Venta Icenorum) which was the Roman administrative centre for the area.
If you want to find out more then please drop us a message using the button on our FB page, send us an email ([email protected]) or simply pick up the phone and call us (landline & answerphone: 01508-492-907).
If you are new to naturism, we would be happy to show you round and answer ALL your questions. We welcome personal enquiries about membership and visitor bookings; alternatively, you can book with us directly through our website: https://broadlandsun.co.uk
