A beautiful sandy beach back by huge sand dunes. This beach has been used in many films and TV programmes and has a large distinctive rock in the bay that looks like it is split down the middle.
It is a large, spacious, beach, but it is also popular with non-naturists. It is known for having a few naturists use it, and we recommend going to the far right of the beach (east) as you look out to sea where it is quieter. It is a stunning beach with more than enough room for naturists to be left in peace.
There is a well known cave St Cuthbert's cave which has a "holy well" in it that can be explored at low tide at this far right hand side of the beach, but do be careful that you are not caught off by the changing tide.
