The Laakse beach is the quietest and most peaceful beach of Zeewolde. This beach consists of several smaller beaches, separated from each other by reed fields. The elongated nude beach reserved for nudists is about 5 hectares in size and consists mainly of a lawn along an unpaved pedestrian path.

On the water side are a number of small sandy beaches. Bathing water has a very gradual sloping bottom and is not quickly deep because of this it is a great place to bring children. It is possible to swim, but there are a lot of plants in the water. The water is not very deep, so after a few warm days in spring it can already be nice to swim here.
