The amazing beach called College Cove is located in the north cove of Trinidad State Beach in the small town of Trinidad. College Cove is a clothing optional beach which is protected from the wind and big surf. Walking along this secluded beach you will see small waterfalls. There is shade to protect you from the sun and logs to sit on.

Many local surfers go here when the swell is really big to surf some mellow sets.College Cove is a more intimate beach than the main state beach near Trinidad Head. At low tide you can walk through a rock arch called The Portal that separates College Cove from the main state beach.
