I am new to the site, so hello from this life-long nudist. Plenty of discussion topics. You might think that Australia - given its nude-friendly weather - might be a great place for plenty of clothing-optional beaches but quite a few of them are under threat of having their legal, nude status revoked. A good example is Tyagarah Beach near Byron Bay in northern NSW. I am not sure whether naturism is having a revival or there's a new (neo) puritanism unfolding - depends country to country. But I am impressed by the likes of organisations such as British Naturism for promoting naturism and the large array of venues for a country not noted for its long hot summers! The only other topic that might have some currency, for me at least, is the issue of body piercings - I have pierced nipples, and whether that's seen as an afront by some to the issue of non-sexualised social, mixed-gender nudity - which I don't see it as an afront. Same with genital piercings - Interesting to canvass opinions on this - same with **** rings - ok at venues? indoors at venues? on the beach? Cheers from a wintery and cold Sydney, Australia
