What does naturism mean to you?
Freedom, liberating, comfortable, non judgemental, acceptance, body positivity, feeling better about yourself. I struggle with body issues for many years. I have eventually overcome them and feel more confident and self assured than I was 20 years ago.
Friendship, good company, good conversation.
I am not a real sun lover being a typically fair haired, pale complexion, but I love being in the sun. I am not really a cold weather naturist.

About Me/Us
I am 60yo. Known as Big John ( I am 6'4" and large framed ) or Mr John ( so called by the waiters in the dining room on North Sea Ferries and it stuck )
We first visited Cap D'Adge in 1983. Camping by coach. It was all we could afford but It was eye opening!
It took me a further 12 yeas before I 'came out' as a naturist, back in the day Centre Parcs was ‘continental’ in their spa, joined a UK club and started socialising.
In 2014 I took over the reins from David Martin, CCNC, to run an event at Doncaster Dome that he had established, and developed our regular monthly events and activities ever since. We number some 200+ 'guests' on our lists and regular have 20-30 guests at each event.
SYN has always been open to all, being conscious of how single men can be treated, having been a single (married non participating partner) man for many years. My wife did join me eventually, but my regular Spa partner happens to be her best friend Liz.
We welcome guests across the age range and have always embraced body modifications, being pierced myself but not tattooed. Something else I found an issue in some clubs certainly 20 years ago.
We all look forward to being allowed to resume events and activities.
