Armands Beach is situated 10 kms south of Bermagui. It was declared clothes optional in 1993. The Bay is named after a local who had a farm behind the bay, a Frenchman named Armand Lemaire, a naturist who loved playing cricket in the nude on this beach.

Armands bay is approx 250 meters long and surrounded by Australian bushland. The waves are rarely above one meter high so perfect for swimming. Nudity is limited to the extent of the sands of the beach.
