Racó de s'Alga also known as Platja de s'Alga is located on the small island of Espalmador, an island of 1,5 miles in length and 0.7 miles in its greater width. Just 200 meters from Formentera.
The beach of S'Alga is characterized by long stretches of pristine fine white sand and an extensive dune system surrounded by savines and crystal clear waters. You will find the natural environment of Racó de s'Alga, invites you to practice nudism. Famous are mud baths that, they say, are beneficial to the skin.
The islet of s'Espalmador gives off so much beauty all along its coast,where you will enjoy this wonderful beach and one of the best sunsets in the world. Access to Racó de s'Alga can only be carried out by boat , Either privately owned or with a shipping company. People are not put off by this due to the high influx of local bathers and tourists.

To reach Racó de s'Alga From La Savina and on the road PM 820 in the direction of La Mola, cross the villages of Sant Francesc Xavier and San Ferran de Ses Roques, until reaching approx 8.5 km.From here, turn right taking a dirt road and travel to the end.
