The Praia Rei Cortiço Beach is located between Óbidos and Peniche in Vau. A great beach for walking and jogging but lonely. Offering vast sands of eleven kilometers reaching Praia Baleal beach in Peniche.
This beach has giant cliffs sculpted over the years by the ocean and wind erosion, which offer a completely unique beauty and offer quiet little corners where one can practice nudism.
The dunes are protected by wooden runways which make entrance to the beach for its visitors easy. The sea is very choppy and is often frequented by surf and body board practitioners.
