This is heaven for naturists. A beautiful wild and unspoiled beach, that is not so popular thanks to the nearby Elafonisi beach which takes most of the tourist crowds.
A hidden gem, quite untouched and unexplored. This beach with yellow/pink sand, and beautiful clear blue/turquoise sea and natural shade from juniper trees.

- Directions: You can reach this beach by walking from Elafonnisi parking (east end). You need good shoes to follow the path eastwards, it is a walking route marked with yellow markers and piles of stones (small cairns) some clambering over rocks. There is shade under trees and no services. It will take 30 - 45 minutes depending upon your level of fitness.
Some people drive nearer on an unsurfaced road. About 500m before you reach the first buildings of Elafonissos, is an asphalt road on your left-hand-side for 5 meters, it then becomes unpaved. Take the first turning left (there you will see greenhouses on the right) and take the next left again. After a stone wall on the left, keep going straight on, and then turn right down a narrow pot-holed lane with greenhouses on the left; finally, turn left again and you will see a car-parking area ahead (and a rubbish tip).
The distance from the main road is 2.5 km. The beach is visible from this point. Go down the path and turn to the left as you face the sea. Continue walking for about 500m until you reach the beautiful sandy beach.
