Playa de las Mujeres, is part of the Natural Park Ajaches there are a series of wild coves known as Papagayo beaches which consist of seven coves which the park presumes natural:
Papagayo, Puerto Muelas, Caleta del Congrio, Playa de la Cera, Playa del Pozo, Playa Mujeres and
San Martial.
All of the beaches are a mix of naturist and textile and are connected by paths through the dunes and hills. One pays a small entrance fee for the park.

Be sure to take food and drink as there's nothing within walking distance.

- Ease of Access The beach is about 10 minutes walk from the road and is easy to get down to. The main indicator that you've reached the beach is the other visitors' cars parked along the road.
From here you have to walk across two hills, which are rocky underfoot in places and covered with gravel, so you need to pack sturdy shoes.

- Directions The access is from the eastern zone of Playa Blanca, in the direction of the village of Femés. A signposted dirt track takes you into the heart of this natural area. There is a charge of €3 per vehicle and the fee goes towards the conservation of the space. There is no charge for access on foot or by bike.
The coves have parking areas right next to the beach and the access is wide and comfortable.
