I know Pasco County in florida, near Tampa Bay, is home to many nudists facilities. Cypress Cove is near Orlando as well. In addition to Haulover, up the coast is Playalinda and Apollo which both have sections for nude sunbathing. I had the opportunity to go to Playalinda a couple of years ago. The nude section fills up quickly on the weekends, but I was there in early January and during the week, so it wasn't too crowded. Very enjoyable. Note - you can't get nude until you get past the sand dunes. Playlinda is part of the Canaveral National Seashore, and gives a great view of the launch facilities at Kennedy Space Center.

One nice thing about Haulover Beach is they have a wonderful volunteer Ambassador program. Not only do they provide an information resource for first-time visitors but their visible presence helps deter improper activity such as photography, videos, or uncomfortable behavior. Parking is readily available as long as you arrive in the morning, can be more challenging after 11am. You can rent lounge chairs and umbrellas (approx. $30) for the day, so need only bring a towel. There is often a food vendor, but it would be wise to bring some of your own beverages as any other source of refreshment (that isn't salt water) may be some distance away.
