I would love to read some thought here about the relationship of naturism to holistic health and wellness. Particularly as a tie in this months 12 Days of Naturism theme https://anaturistworld.com/newsletter/twelve-day-of-naturism+
I will be back later....
We have just shared a review of https://anaturistworld.com/article/smoke-sauna-sisterhood-a-naturist-family-review a great example of nudity and wellness. It would be great to hear your thoughts about this. Your own examples and whether naturism alone is basically an example of an approach to holistic health and wellness. Afterall it is great for the skin and also for well being, and certainly nurtures.
Something else which I think is worth considering in this topic is how much clothing can get in the way of ruining the physical and emotional effects of wellness practises.
With holistic health and wellness month starting tomorrow I would like us to consider in this topic the various ways we improve our holistic health and general wellbeing.
Holistic health is often seen as having various dimensions.
Here is a common list of 8: physical, nutrition, social, emotional, financial, spiritual, intellectual, and environmental.
Do consider these themes in your thoughts - do you feel you have positive approaches to some or all of these? And do these approaches tie in with your choice of naturism or the sort of person you are that allow you to appreciate naturism?
Personally I know I aim to have a positive attitude towards these eight dimensions, and do believe that they are part of what makes me the person I am, which in turn reflects in my attitude towards naturism and my ability to enjoy naturism. I know I could always do better but maybe that itself is inevitable, can any of us ever think we have reach a point where we cannot improve?
I also feel that if I wasn't a naturist I would be less in all of the dimensions, sometimes in obvious ways, sometimes in less obvious ways.
I hand it over to you, and will return with more personal considerations later in the thread.
