I am a member of a club.
It was after I first joined ANW and discovered a whole new world that was suddenly available which made me think that I wanted more social nudity and contact with likeminded people.
I made an application and was invited to visit. When I told my wife, she said she wanted to come as well, which surprised me, so we went and eventually joined as a couple.
It is a mix of ages, singles, couples etc but on the whole a good mix of people.
I’m not the most social person in the world but I know when to shut up and just listen, so generally I get on with most people and make my own mind up about things.
They have work days for club maintenance and some events during the Summer months, which is usually a good laugh especially when the sun shines and at other times you can be there on your own which also makes it quite special.
The wife also knows where I am if I go on my own which gives her one less thing to worry about and lets me absorb the need to be naked and free.
That is excellent to hear. We have had a lot of members say that experience on ANW has lead them to joining clubs and national bodies, as well as booking holidays, trying beaches etc. It is so brilliant to know that being part of this community is encouraging people to try other parts of naturism.
