Heinz's observation reminded me of a similar situation I saw at the Hallenbad (municipal pool) in Weisbaden, (then West) Germany when I was in the Army. Monday evenings the FKK swim began at 7:30. Normally the clothed bathers would leave before then but one evening there were some stragglers in the pool when I arrived on deck. I watched the lifeguards go over and say something to these folks. While I could not hear what was said it was undoubtedly "You can stay but you have to remove your suits." Sure enough, this group of people my age (remember, I was in my twenties) stripped off and continued in the FKK swim.
For some their first time naturist swimming will be at a beach. If your first swim and beach visit coincided share some memories here as we celebrate beaches through September.
Several members shared their memories on the activity feed yesterday. I wrote: My first naturist beach experience was in Spring 2008 when we visited Plage De Nantois https://anaturistworld.com/europewest/33080 and we wrote about it in the blog showing above: https://www.anaturistworld.com/blog/24647 - though I never used the sea there and first swam in the sea here: https://www.anaturistworld.com/blog/24648/a-naturist-family-naturist-beaches-2-saunton-sands-devon-england at the beach: https://www.anaturistworld.com/europenorth/32228
Steve shared these memories: I think it was 32 years ago (maybe 33) so 1993 or 1992. It was in the south of France a little east of Le Lavandou. I am about 90% sure it was Plage Naturiste du Layet https://anaturistworld.com/europewest/31580 and I am trying to establish this as a fact by investigating if there is any other beach that it could have been. The next day I went to Plage de Grottes https://www.anaturistworld.com/europewest/31457 and have covered this time a little here: https://www.anaturistworld.com/member-blog/24653/a-naturist-family-our-history-1-half-a-century I think once I have found out for certain it was Layet I will write a blog about these 2 beaches.
How about you?
