Some week ends we can find ourselves wearing next to no clothing at all and If our neighbour is away or has the shutters closed we can be out side nude also. Which if we are in the far end of the back yard we can remain clothing free as none of our side neighbours can see us, they would have to pop their heads over the fence. We both have some clothing at the back door incase we need to venture to the back patio or garage. I'll have some shorts and Mary may have a long "T" shirt.  As we are empty nesters both our adult children know about the way we like to live and they both don't have any problems with it but our daughter will always call before arriving to our house and ask us to be dressed, which we don't have a problem with doing so. Mary and I both feel that both our children will at some stage try out naturism. We don't push it on them so they don't make it uncomfortable for us. We both don't think answering the front door nude is exceptable to strangers but if either of us have been out away from home the person in the house will open the door and greet in the nude and who ever is coming in the house will usually get comfortable also. We have Club friends that may come over for a visit and we will open the door in the nude, some times they join in and sometimes not. 

So if we have no visitors and weather is good there should be no reason for us to not be nude at home. 

Thanks, always interesting about how to answer the door! I take the same approach, will put on shorts or a gown if its someone unexpected or if they don't know I'm a naturist but will answer nude if it someone who I know is expecting it. That's great your children will probably try out naturism, have they brought it up in conversation? I think being nude at home makes it easier to normalise it. 

 Rob My son's youngest boy is always naked and his three years old and his mother and father are always commenting that his like his grand parents, always nude. 😜  

Only the other week my wife was talking to the daughter and the daughter asked if we would take her children when she has them to our club socials. The wife said without any hesitation, we would be proud to.  So you can see how we are optimistic with the future.

I am naked all the time at home, 24/7. The only exception is in extreme cold weather when I might put a dressing gown on if the heating can't keep up, but that is fairly rare. I am retired, so only need to dress when I go out. My little garden is fairly secluded so I can use it naked without any bother - those that can glimpse into parts of it aren't bothered. 

My wife (who passed away in September 2024) was not a naturist but did join me, naked, on beaches on holidays. She had no problem with me being naked around the house and garden. When I was working I would always strip off when I got home. 

I also answer the front door naked (not that I get many callers, just the occasional delivery really). There's a very long thread about it on the BN Forum - in fact very few people have  with it. Delivery drivers are just too busy and keen to get on to their next drop. The postmen (there are two, who alternate) always have a cheery greeting if they knock with a parcel. 

You are right Jon, most people (including delivery people) are too busy in their own worlds to care about what people are wearing or not wearing.

Yes! I was anxious and many questions flipped my mind the first time I had to answer the door while naked and decided that I wouldn't cover up, but wore only a bright smile and had a cheerful hello. I'm not even sure the delivery guy noted I was naked. From that day, nudity is almost always on without having had any issues with it.

I have made a note on all Courier Apps including Royal Mail / Parcelforce that our address is a naturist household and if nudity offends they should not knock and instead use the black parcel box adjacent to the front door with a photograph of said box in support.  If the item being delivered is an age related item requiring a mandatory face to face then I will always cover up in advance; but otherwise I work on the theory that an appropriate notification has been given and if I am naked I will remain so should they knock.  I did recently have a Courier company that does not have App Tracking knock on my door very very early waking me up in the process and he encountered a clearly half asleep naked customer who could barely string together “Mornin” without out batting an eyelid.
