Nude Runs A wonderful way to get fit, be social & enjoy naturism

    For those of you in the USA, there is a nude 5k run at Sunshower club (Indiana) on Saturday, Aug 1st. I have no affiliation with the club (never been before) nor the race organizers but just wanted to let everyone know. 

    If you have never participated in a nude run / walk before - try it once. It's the most fun you can have while exercising.
    I have participated in a number of these runs over the years (see my article in H&E from 2011) and plan to be at Sunshower in a couple of weeks time. 

    Sheena and I will be travelling from North Carolina to Indiana and staying at White tail and Avalon resorts en rout July 25 - Aug 2. If anyone happens to be visiting at the same time, come say Hello.

    Good morning UKChris, I have taken the liberty of renaming this topic to open it up to a larger discussion and remove its limited shelf life. Naming a topic on a specific event in a specific area will soon leave that topic redundant. 
     
    It would be fascinating to hear from people about what they think of taking part in naked runs, how often they have done so, the pros and cons involved and also how important they consider the link of naturism to exercise.

    Walked a 5k naked runabout 3 years ago. I plan on running it next time. It was a wonderful experience.

    I feel too old to run, but I've walked at least three nude 5ks, including the Bare Burro at Olive Dell Ranch which I organized and named.  My most recent run was at DeAnza for my birthday last year.

    Nude runs are great fun.  Did a colour nude 5k run at Bare Oaks some years back.  The people along the route thow colour chalk at the runners as they pass.  I believe it is an Indian tradition.
