That would be good wouldn't it. Why shouldn't we all dream and work towards making the world a nicer and more tolerant place?

Something that I said on the old blog but haven't yet here: If any verified person or family from this site is ever travelling for vacation and passing through where I live, I would be thrilled to have them take a rest stop at my home. I'll provide a meal and/or snacks, clean towels and a guest room to strip in. Many people on their way to British Columbia or vacation spots in the Pacific Northwest USA pass through our town to get there.

Very kind of you Sam. It is sensible to mention people being verified, we do have to take precautions with connecting with people via the internet. It hasn't happened this year because of the virus, but previously (before ANW) we have had lots of people suggest meeting up at a local beach and without the level of interaction and communication we now have on ANW it was always something we thought - "but what we do we know about you?"

An interesting topic! I like the food analogy although unfortunately the actual scenario could be more like...
You're a meat eater and you found out I am a vegetarian. You then unfriend me and go tell everyone to do the same because I am a weirdo who doesn't eat meat. You also think that being a vegetarian is morally wrong and should be made punishable by the criminal code. All these despite it's factually good for the body and mind to have a vegetarian diet, and even an occasional practice of it has many health benefits.
I most certainly got carried away...

Good point, but i find it interesting that such indoctrination shaming the body and disconnecting us from nature is allowed to persist when i suspect the continual hammering if cover up means people become ashamed of their bodies.
Now the issues and depression caused because people don't measure up to a theoretical ideal is probably extreme.
But hey if it keeps the fashion industry and the drug companies wealthy, who cares.
