We fully agree with Steve and Anna thinking that these sites aren’t really naturist, they betray the naturist philosophy to enjoy our body like it is, without no any "naughty bits", but instead they promote voyeurism and exhibitionism for some obscure business.
We think that every publishing must be authorized by the author and the subjects, and body pictures, like every picture, might be published the way they are shot.
Regarding the kids, in general we think that it is not a good idea to share photos on the network, neither with clothes nor clothless, to defend them from any evil of the world.
But we don’t have any children, so our thoughts are only speculation.
However it is a good idea, don’t share photos with their genitals, until they will reach the major age, and then they could decide to share or not. Sometimes don’t make is better than make…
Our experiences as a son and daughter are that we have rejected the opinion of our parents, so they don't necessarily agree once they grow up.
But times have changed, now parents and children are much more accomplices and friends than we were.
The important thing is that they have gained the opportunity to choose. But we are sure that children who have grown up in a naturist family will surely have this ability.

My thoughts towards people seeing me on a naturist website or in a publication is that if they are naturists then they will get it and not judge me for being there- and if they are not naturists then why are they looking in the first place. If it is to find out about naturism then they are open to the idea and so will not judge but hopefully reach out and ask about naturism. If it is to look at naked people then they will be more embarrassed to acknowledge seeing me than I would be for being seen. So the likelihood is they will just keep quiet and I will remain unaware of them seeing me.
If I am on a naturist website hiding my breasts - then they will still have seen me but will consider that I am taking part in a voyeuristic and exhibitionist lifestyle that sees breasts as naughty. At least by me being honest about my nudity they will not pick up mixed messages. If I was on a naturist website making my breasts seem the most important part of the image (with no context involved - maybe it would be fine in an article about breasts) then I would be also creating the wrong message. To me naturism isn't about hiding our supposed naughty bits and it isn't about highlighting them - it is about being relaxed about showing them and/or not showing them. To give them special treatment in exposure and in covering them is highlighting these body parts as highly significant.
If we consider topless equality for example. Men do not make a big deal about their chests and do not take images where they shove them towards the camera or put their arms across them to cover their nipples - so why then do women who are suggesting this equality? Real topless equality is both sexes exposing their nipples with it being no big deal. Equality is about everyone being the same.
We saw a woman on a live zoom style naturist forum once with a t-shirt with drawn on breasts on it. This not only emphasised the fact that she had chosen to be covered up on a forum that allowed nudity but also stated that underneath her t-shirt she had breasts. To me that seemed so wrong. If she wanted to make a statement about breasts then why not just be topless? If she was relaxed about nudity then why not be topless? Fair enough cover up if you are cold but having images of breast on your clothes is just highlighting them as worthy of attention and also bringing attention to yourself.

There are a lot of interesting comments here. I agree with Anna that naturists who are advocating naturism (bloggers, naturist venue owners) who do not show nudity are sending at best a mixed message. This is different from those who are naturists but for a variety of reasons prefer not to release photographs.
For those of us who either read or have seen copies of Health & Efficiency (H&E), you can see that H&E walks a fine line here. There are several photos in each issue that have been submitted by readers but there is also a Charlie Simonds photoshoot article. At the risk of being banned from ANW (I hope not!) I'll freely admit that I enjoy seeing a picture of a pretty nude girl. At the same time however, I know that very few of us look like professional models of either gender so that the reader photos are far more representative of human kind and of what naturism really is.
In my own life I try to treat nudity as just another part of my personality. I've been "caught" twice by non-family members. The first time was by someone I used for minor construction work on the house - a "handyman". The second was more recent and was by the employee of a landscaping service who was on the property to do some work. In neither instance did I try to cover "naughty parts". I was obviously concerned that either person might be uncomfortable but when I was told both times "not a problem" we just continued our business.
Anna and Steve are to be commended in what they're doing with ANW. From the time I discovered their first web outing (A Naturist Family) I felt that these were people I would like to get to know. They present the image of how life can be lived where clothing is not important. A lot of organizations could do well to emulate what they're doing here but in saying that I'm not trying to encourage a lot of competition.

I am reminded of an old topic from the A Naturist Family days - and I have just ran through the list of topics here and realised it has not been reintroduced. So I will do that. Here -
