Welcome to the forum Steve. I agree I think things are being made worse by programmes like Loose Women and things like Me Too! Scaremongering and negativity without proper control. Someone can throw accusations at a celebrity and it destroys them before they are ever found innocent in court, if it ever even gets that far. Similar accusations are also thrown at naturist family events, when just like attacks on females, a similarly high percent of child abuse also happens in the home with close family being the guilty parties. My Steve often says that he would still be the same person without me by his side, so why should being part of a couple make him more acceptable. Would such attitudes have welcomed the Wests or Hindley and Brady because they were couples?

I use FB to promote naturism and ANW but it is something I do as swift as I can, and with great care. Too much negativity, cruelty, and sexual behaviour, but there are some genuine people to be found if you are willing to wade through the millions of others.

My name is Adam and I'm a (the original?) naturist.

I'm 48 and live in North West England with my wife and 15 year old son. I have 4 older children who live with or near to their mum in North Wales. Our son has grown up in a house where we have always been comfortable in the nude but since the onset of puberty - his interest has wained.   My wife is also comfortable nude, but I'm ALWAYS the one to get naked first! hehe

For as long as I can remember, I've always been happier nude.

I have been a verified member here for quite a while but have just made the leap to an annual membership and look forward to having a mooch around all these new unlocked areas of ANW, as well as getting to know you all a bit better.

Welcome to the community.  I found Steve and Anna when they were doing their first blog (A Naturist Family).  I have to say this is the best group of people I've found. Naturism is unfortunately misunderstood; if more people knew what it really was like I think the world would be a better place.

It's great to be connected with the ANW community. 

I have dabbled with naturism on and off for 15 years. The more I run with it, the more at peace I feel. 

It has been a slow and solo journey, yet looking forward to meeting and connecting with other community members. 

The passion egnited when I decided to remove underwear full time from my textile life and I've never looked back. I did not enjoy the suffocating feeling and much prefer the freedom. As the years went by, shedding all clothes created confidence, calmness and an ultimate feeling of freedom.

Looking forward to writing again soon. 

 

I could not find my introduction here, so here it is.

I’m Marc, married, father of 3, working in IT forever, living in the South of France. I’m almost the only naturist of the family. I am saying almost as our older son is sometimes going naked around home, but does not really embrace the lifestyle. Hence, I’m the only one living naked at home, in the garden and everywhere I can be naked. I’m the founder of the naturist blog Nude and Happy, entirely focused on nudism and naturism. I am, what my wife calls me, an obsessed naturist, although I prefer a passionate naturist. I’m a firm believer naturism is the solution to living a balanced life, made of respect and love. All topics related to naturism are interested and I look forward to contributing to naturism so more people understand and embrace it. I’m a member of the French Federation of Naturism, and of APNEL, a group that promotes naturism outside of labelled naturist zones. I would love the world to accept naturism more and understand a naked body is nothing more than a naked body, nothing to be frightened about.

I’m very happy to be part of ANW. This community shows and defends values that are close to my heart, and has a position regarding naturism that is totally mine. I love naturism and I found people here who share this love. Naturism is more than being naked, it’s a lifestyle, a state of body and mind, and a journey of self-discovery. Big Kudos to Anna, Steve, and their boys, for all that they do for a healthy, family, and respectful naturism.
